Impact

Since 2009, we've given visibility to research and personal accounts demonstrating how pornography can negatively impact individuals, relationships, and society. Through this grassroots movement, millions of people have found hope and freedom. We couldn't do this without Fighters like you!

Powerful video!! It really helps you see the effects of porn on the brain. This video has helped me a lot in my recovery from porn addiction. Thank you.

I’ve already shared it with a bunch of people. It was really informative. It had a good combination of facts, personal stories, and science. And it was told in a way that all this information in the end gave hope and an idea of how to get out of porn.

I most enjoyed the hope this documentary gave that my brain can recover from my porn addiction. I’ve read that repeated engagement with porn is like blazing a well-worn path in the brain–a path I wasn’t sure could ever not be frequently walked. But this gave me so much hope. That well-worn path in my brain that’s been blazed by viewing porn can regrow into a field of flowers again, free from the familiarity and grasp of porn. Thank you for this beautiful resource.

I guess I just want to say thank you for being willing to fight against this addiction. So many people are suffering from the effects of pornography! I’ve been avoiding buying your shirts for a while now. I guess out of social fear, but I’m going to do it now! We need to be the change we want to see in this world, right? I will boldly, and without apology, wear your shirt and hopefully get the conversation started!

Thank you so much for the resource of your documentary! I have been trying to learn about the effects of pornography but so much of the content out there is very scattered and not cited. I appreciate your work and want to support this movement!

Thank YOU so much! It’s amazing what you do, and you provide excellent and helpful materials and resources as well. For me, as a high school teacher in Switzerland, you’re a helping hand for supporting students who deal with questions and problems around these topics. All across the pond! So thanks again—I’m really proud to be a Fighter!

I want to thank you for all the work you have been doing. At the beginning of last year, I got conscious about the real problem of pornography, and since then, I have been on a continuous fight. With wins and fails on quitting porn forever, I’m still on a long journey, but am much closer to the final objective. Soon I will finally be free, achieve the best version of myself, and discover true love.

Porn has been a lifelong struggle and I’m a big supporter of your organization. My fiancé introduced me to you. He loves you guys!

This resource is really awesome! The slide about kids seeing porn at home hits home and made me realize that I need to bite the bullet by having that important, albeit awkward, conversation with my teen. This blueprint makes it that much easier. Thank you!

I just wanted to thank you for what you do as an organization. It is remarkable and so necessary. Three years ago, I was addicted to pornography. Like, “watching it three times a day” addicted. The results left me numb. Hopeless. And in a lot of ways, it left me lifeless. I’m glad to say that I’m almost two years removed from pornography and married to the girl of my dreams. And I’m able to help my friends do the same. In part, it’s because of what you guys do. You, among other forms of accountability, helped change my perspective and really fight this toxic influence that was in my life. So thank you for that.

Porn affected my life in so many ways I never could’ve imagined. It affected my social life and relationship with my parents. There were times when I thought I’d overcome my addiction, but whenever I became depressed or things came up, I always found myself crawling back to porn. I was introduced to your page by a friend and started following on social media. I read the stats and started to understand how porn was not only affecting me, but the world too. I made a solid commitment to never view porn again. My life slowly began to turn around. I started to do better in school and was able to focus on my social life. I was happier. The greatest change of all was when I met the most amazing girl who is now my wife. I have been sober for over two years. If you’re fighting right now, keep fighting. If you haven’t started, start now. It will change your life. Don’t get discouraged. It takes time. You can do it!

The three episodes of Brain, Heart, World inspired me to try and make a difference in my country. Great job to your team for doing this docuseries, and a special thank you to the people who shared their stories and experiences with us viewers. You are precious.
