I felt that I was very deeply connected to those people in the video because I noticed the shared hardship between them and me. I did reach a breaking point. I did relapse. I did feel ashamed. I have wished that I never discovered what I’ve discovered. Knowing that recovery is tangible inspires me on so many levels. Thanks to everyone who helped produce this episode. I truly mean that.
Thank you so much for everything that you do. Four months ago, my husband confessed to a pornography addiction after I caught him secretly watching porn. I’ve used so many of your resources to educate both of us (especially myself) to help us navigate this very difficult situation. It’s definitely not easy, but this community & others sharing their stories have helped me more than I can put into words.
Fight the New Drug is a great organization, and this podcast is just as great. It’s so awesome that they’re making a podcast to talk about this hugely important issue affecting people everywhere. It can be an uncomfortable conversation, but it is a critical one to have. On top of that, the arguments presented here are not based on religious or political views, and they’re not trying to impose a certain viewpoint or ideology on listeners. All they want is to share what the facts say about pornography because they truly care about people and want the best for them. All things considered, this podcast gets a 5-star review from me!
Hey FTND team, thank you for providing so much information and encouraging people to speak up about the harmful effects of pornography no matter who they are. Thanks to you, I gave a speech about just that topic in front of my English class on Tuesday and sparked up a great conversation with a classmate. I also was graded the highest mark we could get. I thought I was alone in my feelings about pornography until I found your page and realized there are like-minded people out there and it has made me feel somewhat better. I feel like society has normalized porn viewing to be acceptable thing in a monogamous relationship. I really support what you’re doing and I bought your “Stop the Demand” tee shirt and I can’t wait to get it.
