Presenter & Communications/Social Media Assistant

We are currently seeking a passionate and dynamic Presenter and Communications/Social Media Assistant to join our team. As a Live Presenter for Fight the New Drug, you will educate and inspire audiences across the globe about the harmful effects of pornography consumption. You will shed light on the science, facts, and personal accounts that illustrate the detrimental impact of pornography on individuals, relationships, and society. By delivering compelling presentations to schools and community groups, you will play a crucial role in empowering individuals to make informed choices and resist the influence of pornography in their lives. As a Communications/Social Media Assistant, you will assist our Director of Marketing in managing all social media channels, helping to mobilize the movement online. You will help expand our brand’s reach by assisting with strategic collaborations and creating engaging content.

*This is not a remote position. Full-time, in-office work in Salt Lake City is required.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver live memorized presentations on the harmful effects of pornography to diverse audiences, including schools, universities, community groups, and conferences.
  • Utilize multimedia tools, personal stories, and interactive elements to engage and captivate audiences.
  • Stay informed about the latest research, data, and trends related to pornography consumption and its impact on mental health, relationships, and society.
  • Collaborate with the Fight the New Drug team to develop and refine presentation content and delivery techniques.
  • Engage with audience members and handle questions, objections, and audience feedback with empathy, professionalism, and accuracy.
  • Represent Fight the New Drug with integrity and passion at all times. Be familiar with our brand and resources to represent us to various audiences accurately.
  • Travel domestically and internationally as needed to deliver presentations and attend events.
  • Assist the Marketing team with social media content creation
  • Participate in creating on-camera social media as a Fight the New Drug representative
  • Respond to messages and comments on all social media channels, representing Fight the New Drug through all interactions.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging influencers, and best practices in influencer marketing
  • Collaborate with influencers to develop and execute co-branded campaigns, content collaborations, and advocacy initiatives that promote Fight the New Drug’s message and programs.
Qualifications:
  • Passion for the mission and values of Fight the New Drug
  • Comfortable with public speaking, presenting to audiences of all sizes, and speaking on camera.
  • Previous proven experience in public speaking, presenting, or education preferred
  • Previous experience with managing a social media brand
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to connect with diverse audiences
  • Ability to convey complex information clearly and engage and relate to live and digital audiences.
  • Flexibility to travel frequently, typically 2-3 days at a time, and work occasional evenings and weekends.
  • Commitment to maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and sensitivity when discussing sensitive topics related to pornography.

Through compelling presentations, Fight the New Drug’s certified Presenters provide individuals with the opportunity to make an educated and informed decision about pornography. Through thousands of live events, we’ve reached over one million people through presentations, and with your help can reach even more.  If you are a natural public speaker with a passion to raise awareness on the harms of pornography, please apply.

We are currently seeking presenters for our middle school, high school, and community events, and are accepting applications for both United States and internationally-based presenters. Please note these are contracted positions and do require some travel.
