Impact

Since 2009, we've given visibility to research and personal accounts demonstrating how pornography can negatively impact individuals, relationships, and society. Through this grassroots movement, millions of people have found hope and freedom. We couldn't do this without Fighters like you!

From the bottom of my heart, I’d like to thank everyone involved in the FTND organization for what you all have done and continue to do to help young men and women become healthy. To realize there are others similar to myself struggling with this addiction motivates me so much more to empower myself and improve my quality of life. Keep up the incredible message!

My husband told me he was an addict, and I became aware of the harms of porn from that. When I found your site, it helped me understand more and more about these harms and it motivated me to become a Fighter myself. I always wanted to be a teacher, but I now know that I want to be a health teacher to help inform young students and their parents about the harms of pornography.

Great podcast! I love this work! I joined as a Fighter for FTND and have merchandise on the way. I’m just shook. I feel like I stumbled across a big part of my purpose here. Ahh, I can’t say enough! Keep up the good work!

I watched porn and it made me feel really uncomfortable, yet a lot of people see it as harmless fun,so I thought I must be a “prude.” Seeing your YouTube videos changed that. I know porn is unhealthy for individuals and society, and people are exploited terribly in the industry. The only people who benefit from this issue are those making money from it. Keep up the good work in creating awareness.

This donation amount is what I would withdraw each time to fuel my addiction. As part of my recovery, this is an important symbolic gesture to fight for love.

I just received my “People ≠ Products” shirt and I’m thrilled with it! Thank you also for sending stickers, I’m going to put them on my laptop and water bottle to further rep the movement! Thank you, thank you, thank you for everything you do. A lot of people close to me have been affected by porn, so it’s something I’m very passionate about. I appreciate that you’re a non-religious organization so I have a secular, scientific resource to share with people who are skeptical about objecting to porn on moral or religious grounds. I discovered you guys through one of my friends who constantly wears his PKL shirts. He’s had a lot of struggles with porn, but he’s so open about it and has helped so many people! You guys as a community encourage me so much.

I’m almost 90 days free of porn, and I’m beginning to understand how a healthy relationship just wasn’t possible with porn in my life. So, the greatest experience I have is hope.

Thank you! At the beginning of this year, I caught my husband looking at porn. He was exposed to it at a young age and addicted the majority of his life. It was probably one of the most painful experiences I’ve gone through. Now he’s been openly sharing with others his story, has been free of porn, has an accountability group, and he is just is able to enjoy a life without porn’s hold on him. It’s been so difficult to go through this, but we’re fighting! Thank you for your encouragement in a world that normalizes porn.

This issue has left me feeling sad, helpless, angry, misunderstood, and lonely for so many years. Your team did amazing work by creating research-based content that makes it possible to have an actual constructive discussion about it. Reading through your website reminded me that we are not alone in this fight for change. Thank you so much for all the hard work you put in there. It really made a difference for me!
