Since 2009, we've given visibility to research and personal accounts demonstrating how pornography can negatively impact individuals, relationships, and society. Through this grassroots movement, millions of people have found hope and freedom. We couldn't do this without Fighters like you!
For a year or so, I got sucked into the world of porn. But after I discovered FTND, I learned how much I was hurting myself and how much pain my habit caused the other people involved. I quit cold turkey right then, and as difficult as it was, I was able to move on from it and learn from my mistakes. I’ve now been completely clean for 6 months, and I was able to wholeheartedly experience true love. With what I had discovered, I was able to reach out to my best friend and help them quit their addiction as well. They’ve now been 2 months clean. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for everything. I will be forever grateful and a proud Fighter.
I want to thank you for giving me the resources and courage to speak to my two sons (aged 13 and 15) about the harmful effects of pornography and exploitation. We had a great conversation that went way beyond my wildest expectations. Thank you again for the amazing work you do to highlight and support parents.
I finally told my parents about my porn addiction last night. It had made me depressed and antisocial because I felt like nobody could love me. I thought my parents were going to be disappointed or angry with me, but they were actually really proud of me for coming to them. They didn’t make me feel bad about myself, and were completely loving and understanding. Now we do a weekly phone audit, so they look through my phone and I look through their phones with complete trust. I’m so happy now that I’ve told someone. It was completely consuming me, but it was like a virus that wouldn’t stop. In the end, I couldn’t forgive myself until I told someone and accepted that I had a problem. Thank you for being a source that people like me can come to and feel loved.
Wow, this docuseries was truly awakening. I’ve tried and tried many times to quit porn, and after relapsing a couple of days ago, this was the motivation that I needed. I accept that what triggers me won’t go away, things won’t change straight away and there’s still the possibility of relapsing again; I have to be aware of that. But when one sees clearly that things do get better and the clouds do part eventually, it’s very motivating to know that there’s more to life than this. Beyond pornography is a better, more rewarding, and more fulfilling life. Thank you for making this documentary. I will work even harder to kick this out of my life!
