Impact

Since 2009, we've given visibility to research and personal accounts demonstrating how pornography can negatively impact individuals, relationships, and society. Through this grassroots movement, millions of people have found hope and freedom. We couldn't do this without Fighters like you!

I guess I just want to say thank you for being willing to fight against this addiction. So many people are suffering from the effects of pornography! I’ve been avoiding buying your shirts for a while now. I guess out of social fear, but I’m going to do it now! We need to be the change we want to see in this world, right? I will boldly, and without apology, wear your shirt and hopefully get the conversation started!

I work at a huge tech company, and we usually deal with websites that can host pornography. People made jokes about it at first, including my coworkers. I introduced them to FTND and its informational side regarding what porn does to the brain. Anyways, a few days ago, my buddy at work let me know it’s made an impact on him and that he’s going to stop consuming porn. I feel really good about it. It’s hard being a woman in technology (especially because we are outnumbered 4:1) but it’s even harder when objectification of women is something that’s just happening in front of our faces without even knowing the true effects of it on our brain long term. I feel like I bring important things to the table being a lady in tech, and FTND has been a significant thing in my life. I’m spreading it like wildfire. I’m tired of it being the norm.

I wanted to take this time to say thank you. Thanks for all that y’all do to shine a light on pornography and sexual exploitation. When I was a kid, my dad did things to my sister that I won’t mention. His pornography addiction cost him his two precious children. There were many years I was hurt by those circumstances and held onto my anger. Since then, I’ve been able to attend a recovery program and use Fortify. I’m now starting my own organization with a friend that centers around child abduction prevention. I am grateful for all that y’all do. Fight on!

I’ve always appreciated what you at FTND do with promoting awareness of the dangers of pornography. Since experiencing firsthand the pain that comes from being in a toxic, porn-damaged relationship, I’ve become more involved with the movement. Thank you for what you do!

I just want to thank you for the dedicated work you are putting in daily. My exposure to porn started before I was a teenager and while I spent much of my high school and college years being open about the struggle and “wanting” to quit, my addiction to it grew inside of my marriage. Instead of dealing with feelings of resentment with my wife, I fled to fantasy in porn and eventually adultery. While I willingly accept total responsibility for my sexual brokenness and all its consequences, it took getting caught five years ago to bring about the seeds of recovery that have really taken deep root. I discovered you on Instagram less than a year ago and have told my recovery group, my new wife, my friends, and anyone who will listen about the quality work you are doing. If only I had known about you eight years ago, even though I was not willing to give up my behavior. Now, more than ever, your facts, research, and movement have done nothing but fill me with hope and gratitude.

Brain, Heart, World was very informative and insightful. The topic itself was uncomfortable to think about watching, but as I watched it, it just made me feel like I was learning more about how we are all affected differently by the things in this world and how it is the little things that are done over and over again that can have larger and more intense effects on us as an individual.

Keep posting. Keep the podcast. Keep reminding me of what I need to avoid. The more I see you in my feed, the better. I’m so grateful for the work you and others do to save.

Hi, I just wanted to thank you so much for the work you’re doing. I’ve never watched porn, but I’ve been in a relationship with a guy who did, and it came through in the way he treated me, and as a result, it has deeply impacted my sexuality negatively. Almost every guy I know watches it and that can get pretty discouraging. Your website has been a light in the darkness, a sign that people are fighting porn, a sign that I’m not alone. Thank you so much.

There are so many things I’d like to say, but I teared up a couple of times. The personal stories are extremely powerful and I can relate to many of them. Thank you so much for doing this and stepping out into the world with confidence and without fear.

I’ve been struggling for a long time now and it’s time for me to stop. I watched the documentary last night and it really helped to see the other side of the issue. I’m very addicted to it and I stayed strong yesterday and I’m planning to keep it like that! Thank you for all you do, and I’m probably going to order a shirt today.

I appreciate you guys doing this. I send a lot of your resources to my friends who struggle to try and help them, so keep it up.
