Impact

Since 2009, we've given visibility to research and personal accounts demonstrating how pornography can negatively impact individuals, relationships, and society. Through this grassroots movement, millions of people have found hope and freedom. We couldn't do this without Fighters like you!

I just realized that I have a real problem with pornography, but these videos are actually giving me hope.

I recently decided to wear my PKL shirt to O’Hare airport. I immediately noticed lots of staring, which is expected when you’re wearing a shirt that has the word “porn.” A few people stopped me to tell me they loved my shirt, many smiled and pointed. It was refreshing to see people reacting and hopefully having meaningful conversations after seeing it. The best part was while entering the aircraft, a flight attendant greeted us and after reading my shirt, her face lit up! She loved the message and had her coworker come see it as well. During the flight, the flight attendant offered me a complimentary beer “for wearing such an awesome shirt.”

By supporting FTND, you aren’t just giving your money to another nonprofit. You are provided with a tool to spread an empowering, world-changing message. By wearing a shirt with the 3 simple words “Porn Kills Love,” I was able to raise awareness, start conversations for many, and pass the message along.

The weight of not hiding things from my wife has been lifted! I don’t worry about her catching me because I’m not hiding anything!

I wanted to take this time to say thank you. Thanks for all that y’all do to shine a light on pornography and sexual exploitation. When I was a kid, my dad did things to my sister that I won’t mention. His pornography addiction cost him his two precious children. There were many years I was hurt by those circumstances and held onto my anger. Since then, I’ve been able to attend a recovery program and use Fortify. I’m now starting my own organization with a friend that centers around child abduction prevention. I am grateful for all that y’all do. Fight on!

Outstanding! Just the resource I need as a parent. We will make this a regular resource we use, and will share it with friends! Thank you!

Finding you guys today makes me feel less alone, especially after finding porn on my boyfriend’s phone. It has absolutely destroyed me. And together as a couple, we are going to try and work out this issue because porn kills love, and I don’t want this obstacle to kill our love.

I used the conversation blueprint with my 12-year-old son. So helpful for that first conversation. Can’t wait to show him the documentary.

I just wanted to share that I was able to present to my whole student body about human trafficking, and specifically share about how pornography is connected to sex trafficking. It went well, and some students were really struck by the information about sex trafficking and wanted to change their habits and make a difference. I also received the “Concept in Action Award.” This is an award for a student who embodies the school’s mission. And I wanted to let you know the #NoPornovember Campaign, attending the conference with you all, and just all you do at Fight really inspired all of this for me! Thank you so much!

Since we are going through this pandemic, I’m trying my best not to watch porn! Been keeping myself busy around the house! Keep up the good work, Fight the New Drug! Y’all have really been helpful during my journey.

My marriage fell apart because of the harsh impact of pornography. My ex-husband is a good man; porn just changed how he functioned, spoke, thought, and looked at me. It hurt us in many ways, and it consumed the amazing person he is. I hope he finds a way to deeply and fully recover someday. He once told me that he saw FTND at our college campus, and he wanted to buy a shirt so bad… He said he knew it would be his anthem to himself if he were to buy one. To stop and be able to tell others to as well. He said one day he was so close, but he wasn’t ready. So, thank you for your impact. I will wear the two shirts I just bought now as an anthem as well. Thank you for all you do for the thousands who never said anything about it. You are saving lives.

The content that Fight the New Drug presents, both on social media and in live presentations is spot on! It is all presented in a way that doesn’t promote shame, but rather teaches how watching can lead to addictive decisions and it has a harmful influence on people’s brains, relationships, mental health, and motivations. The information given is based on highly esteemed research and they give tons of links and ways to break free of using porn if one desires to do so.
