Impact

Since 2009, we've given visibility to research and personal accounts demonstrating how pornography can negatively impact individuals, relationships, and society. Through this grassroots movement, millions of people have found hope and freedom. We couldn't do this without Fighters like you!

I found out my husband was watching porn about a year into our marriage, and it has taken me a year to mentally get over it. He is porn-free now and our sex life has been so much better. I don’t think people realize the damage it does to relationships and to your own self-worth. So happy I found your page! Porn most definitely kills love.

I LOVE YOU GUYS! I’m three days porn-free. Thank you for all you’re doing.

Thank you guys! It is an AMAZING movement that you promote and believe in. I was THRILLED when I found you guys because it’s easy to be bogged down by the heaviness in the world around us to the point that you forget the necessity of standing up and fighting against it. You fight the good fight every day and I am truly honored to be able to, even in a small way, bring attention to that with the shirt on my back.

I don’t know if you guys read this but my sexual assault story is exactly like a story you shared. I wanted to say thank you for sharing this because not only does it help to raise awareness but it also helps to make people who have been assaulted feel less alone, and know other people have felt exactly how they have.

Brain, Heart, World was very inspiring and it definitely helps you see how an addiction to porn can affect not just personality, but also your mental health. Great information.

Hey, I really don’t know if you’ll ever see my message, but I wanted to say thank you! I am so happy that I found your account because in the past I thought that I was alone with my opinion about porn. I think that your content is really important for many people.

Thanks so much for helping bring awareness to such sensitive topics! It needs to be talked about more! It’s scary to put your story out there for people to criticize, but this topic needs to be talked about. Thank you for making the process seamless! I’ll share and help bring awareness. I love the work of FTND! So happy to be a part of it.

I am so grateful to see that so many people are learning and understanding that pornography is harmful. It’s not only harmful and unhealthy to the person watching it, but those around them are also deeply affected. Thank you for this fantastic podcast!

365 days! Consider Before Consuming was a vital part of the initial “white knuckle.” Thank you for making this journey & anniversary possible.

I was impacted by this. I have been struggling with porn for almost 15 years. Watching this really gave me hope that I can and I will recover, so that I can live my life to fullest without negative feelings dragging me down.

Your docuseries, Brain, Heart, World, changed my life. Thank you.

It’s still a long journey, but I already see a lot of improvement in myself.

I wanted to share anonymously that I’m two years porn-free. This is in part because I’m following you on social media. I’ve referred people to you as a source. Thanks for your work!

This was amazing. It definitely helps show that anyone struggling is not alone. I think it’s cool that it focused on real people’s stories, and it’s awesome that people are trying to spread the word that porn is a problem. It has been in my life, and I’m grateful for everyone who has helped me on the journey of stopping. Thank you for the great docuseries.

I had to give a persuasive speech at my college. I chose the topic of porn. Everyone was shocked when I stood up and the title of my presentation popped up: “Why we need to fight against pornography.” At first, some of them chuckled, but toward the end, the entire class was either leaning forward or on the verge of tears. When I finished, my professor and some classmates said to me, “We are ready to fight,” and it made me so happy. I sincerely believe that there are many young people who know the darkness behind watching pornography but are too afraid of standing alone. Thankfully, I let my class know that there are hundreds of Fighters willing to support each other.

Well done. Recently, I’ve learned that someone close to me has been watching porn, and this helped just ease the pain with humor and the comfort of knowing we are not alone in the struggle. There is comfort in the science—it is validating. There is hope in knowing change is possible and can be pretty radical if we are open to the journey. Thank you, all!
